You will gain the knowledge needed to structure and deepen your personal practice, using specific techniques, mechanisms, and exercises to go deeper into the asanas without injury.

This training addresses the body’s overall flexibility, including dedicated practices and anatomy-focused classes. It will cover different types of stretches and methods, the benefits and risks of flexibility work, as well as the factors that influence flexibility.

Pratique

7:30 hours of practice that will cover the whole body: flexibility of the legs, hips and back bends.

Discover 3 specific workshops composed of a warm-up/routine, dynamic flows, technical exercises and movements dedicated to flexibility.

You will leave with sequences, exercises and personalized advice to continue developing your practice.

Theory

The theory section explores the key principles behind flexibility and mobility: what they are, how they work, and how to develop them in a safe, sustainable way.

You'll dive into the benefits and risks of flexibility training, the science of stretching and strengthening, and the many factors, like breath, alignment, and technique: that influences your body's range of motion.

Anatomy

What is your body made of?
What are the different components that play a role in your flexibility?

You will gain a deeper understanding of your body through both a general overview and a closer look at the key areas involved in flexibility.

You will discover what different mechanisms affect your flexibility and how to use them in your practice.

YACEP certified training

This training is intended for yoga teachers, but also for anyone with a regular practice who wants to deepen or rediscover this aspect of their experience.

The Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) certification is for experts in the yoga community who teach courses that are validated as continuing education hours for certified yoga teachers (RYT).

  • What is it about?

    This training (10 hours in physics or 15 hours online) offers an approach to flexibility through yoga, and not pure contortion. It is designed to deepen your practice and understanding of mobility, combining anatomy, theory, and practice in order to expand your freedom of movement in a gradual and secure manner.

  • What language is the course in?

    The entire online course is taught in English. In physics, the training is taught in French when it takes place in France, and in English when it is offered internationally.

  • What does the training include?

    The training combines theory and practice to develop progressive and secure flexibility. The theoretical part covers anatomy, the different types of stretching, as well as the principles for structuring your training over the long term. The practice is divided into several thematic workshops, accessible at all levels:

    1. Large lateral gap and flexibility of the legs
    2. Large facial gap and hip mobility
    3. Backbends
    4. Shoulder inversions and mobility (only in person)
  • Do I have to be flexible already?

    No Prior experience in yoga or movement is recommended to keep up with the pace of the workshops, but it is not necessary to already know how to perform the poses. The training offers progressive variations adapted to everyone.

  • When/how does this training take place?

    Online: It's a one-time purchase with lifetime access. You can return to the content at any time, at your own pace. You will need a yoga mat. Two blocks or two big books. A strap or belt.

    Face-to-face: This training is offered several times a year, in France and internationally.

  • Is the training certified?

    Yes. The program is Yoga Alliance certified and you will receive a certificate of completion at the end of 15 hours online or 10 hours in person.
